Rebel MPs cowardly, will be disqualified: Sanjay Raut on whip violation
Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut on Thursday launched a sharp attack on rebel MPs and said they've violated the party whip and legal action will be taken against them. The six rebel MPs did not come for the party's parliamentary party meeting today in its office in the Parliament complex.
He accused the party rebels of hiding. "If their direction is different, then the Speaker of the Lok Sabha will decide. These people haven't come forward yet. I don't know where they've hidden. These people who used to consider themselves Shiv Sainiks are cowardly. Shiv Sainiks aren't that cowardly. These people consider themselves Shiv Sainiks, and where have they gone to hide? In Jaipur. Now, they've violated the whip, which means they've broken the party's orders, and legal action will be taken against them," he told ANI.
"And all these MPs will be disqualified; no one can save them. Our fight is ongoing. And as long as these corrupt, dishonest people exist in politics, the fight will continue. Shinde will say that Trump is also coming into our party, we gave him fifty crores. He can say anything. Let him say," he added.

Girish Mahajan claims Uddhav faces no political threat with Sanjay Raut ...
Mumbai, Jun 3 – In a heated exchange, senior BJP minister Girish Mahajan has launched a strong criticism against Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut, labeling him a “broker” and a political adversary of Uddhav Thackeray. This confrontation follows Raut’s recent comments suggesting that Mahajan would be among the first to abandon the BJP if it were to lose power.
Mahajan, who oversees the water resources portfolio in Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’s cabinet, responded to Raut’s accusations by asserting that Uddhav Thackeray does not require external enemies to undermine his party, as Raut himself is sufficient for that task. He further accused Raut of driving away key leaders and grassroots workers from the Shiv Sena (UBT).
The BJP minister highlighted Raut’s role in aligning Thackeray with Sharad Pawar and the Congress party after the split between the BJP and Shiv Sena in 2019, claiming that Raut’s actions have significantly harmed his own party. Mahajan warned that if Thackeray does not manage Raut effectively, the Shiv Sena (UBT) could face collapse.
The backdrop of this political strife is the split withi…

Sanjay Raut questions security cover for 6 Shiv Sena (UBT) MPs
Shiv Sena (UBT) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut on Thursday attacked the Maharashtra government after it moved to provide Y+ security cover to six Shiv Sena (UBT) MPs, questioning why the ruling alliance was extending protection to leaders of a party it had publicly claimed did not have the strength to create unrest in the state.
“If Shiv Sena (UBT) has no strength, then remove their security and see what happens,” Raut said, amid developments that suggest the Uddhav Thackeray-led party is set to lose six MPs to theEknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena.
Stepping up his attack on minister Girish Mahajan, Raut said BJP leaders survived politically only because of central agencies and government machinery. “Remove ED, CBI, and police. First, we will thrash Girish Mahajan. All these BJP leaders will run away immediately,” he said.
The sharp exchange came a day after Raut had warned that Shiv Sena (UBT) workers would not remain silent over attempts to target party MPs and said there would be “rada (ruckus)” in Maharashtra as workers would teach lessons to those trying to weaken the party.

His remarks followed a press conference by Raut on Wednesday in which he launched a scathing attack on alleged rebel MPs, hurling abuses and also accusing them of 'betrayal' while warning that those abandoning the party would have to answer before the people.
