Iran launched a coordinated barrage of ballistic missiles, firing missiles at Israel, Bahrain and Kuwait, according to the South China Morning Post and Times of Israel. The United States responded by hitting Iranian radar sites after drone attacks, Times of Israel reported. President Donald Trump later said the deal was stuck because Iran must make tough decisions and that Tehran retained about 22 % of its missile arsenal, Times of Israel added.

President Trump said the United States and Iran had “very good meetings” in Doha and were “getting along well,” Hindustan Times reported, and he sent back a tougher peace proposal to Iran, Hindu reported. After walking out of an interview on camera, Trump remarked that Israel had no choice but to accept a potential deal, South China Morning Post reported. Earlier, Trump said Israel and Hezbollah had agreed to stop fighting, France24 reported, and he called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “crazy” and accused him of putting Iran peace talks at risk, France24 reported.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said, “Either the war ends in both Iran and Lebanon or in neither,” GDELT reported, and added that Tehran would consider an attack on Beirut a major act, GDELT reported. He also warned of a stern attack if Israel continues to attack Lebanon, Hindustan Times reported.

Israel seized the 900‑year‑old Beaufort Castle and a strategic ridge in southern Lebanon, Hindu reported.
