J&K: 2 Govt Employees Accused Of Terror Activities Terminated From Service
Srinagar:
Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday terminated the services of two government employees as part of his "zero-tolerance to terror" policy, sources said.
These dismissals were executed under Article 311(2)(c) of the Constitution of India and were a part of the ongoing drive to root out terrorists embedded in the government machinery.
According to sources, one of the alleged terrorists was a Class-IV employee of the Education Department in Ramban. However, he was operating for the terror outfit Hizb Ul Mujahideen and used his government position as a cover to revive terrorism and build a larger terrorist network in Ramban and the surrounding areas.

Srinagar-The Jammu and Kashmir Government has dismissed a lineman of the Power Development Department (PDD) from service over his involvement in terrorism and anti-national activities in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
According to an official order, Mohammad Shafi Malik, a lineman and resident of Eidgah Mohalla, Bijbehara, was removed from service under Article 311(2)(b) of the Constitution of India.
The order states that Malik was associated with the banned terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) since 2016 and was facing trial in multiple criminal cases.
It stated that three FIRs were registered against him in connection with anti-national activities, while two additional stone-pelting cases were also pending against him at Police Station Bijbehara.
As per the order, security agencies had said that LeT terrorists were found hiding at his residential house in Arwani, Bijbehara, in June 2017, which led to an encounter in which three terrorists were killed.
The government said the material provided by the Home Department and other agencies established sufficient grounds to invoke provisions of Article 311(2)(b), …

Jammu and Kashmir lieutenant governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday ordered the dismissal of two government employees over their alleged terror links.
The employees have been identified as Ghulam Hussain of Reasi district and Majid Iqbal Dar of Rajouri, both serving as teachers in the education department.
They are among nearly 80 government employees who have been terminated over suspected terror links since the abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019.
Hussain is accused of working as an overground worker (OGW) for the proscribed terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and facilitating terrorists’ recruitment and funding their activities in Reasi district.
Dar, meanwhile, is accused of being involved in narco-terrorism, terror financing, and radicalisation of youth. Investigators have also connected him to IED conspiracy cases in Rajouri, suggesting that he was facilitating terror operations through drug proceeds.
The separate dismissal orders issued on Thursday morning stated that the L-G is satisfied after considering the facts and circumstances of the case and that the activities of the two employees are such that warrant thei…
