Armenia held its first parliamentary election since ceding the disputed region of Nagorno-Karabakh to Azerbaijan in 2023. Early results indicated that Armenia's ruling Civil Contract party received between 51.4% and 56.7% of the vote, according to differing reports from the electoral commission, exit polls, and initial ballot counts. The opposition Strong Armenia alliance received 22% of the vote in early results, while an exit poll reported it received 29%. Another exit poll reported Strong Armenia received 23.3%. The Prosperous Armenia party received 5% in early results, while an exit poll reported 6.1%. The Armenia Alliance received 8.8% in early results and 9.6% in initial counts. An exit poll reported the Wings of Unity party received 4.6%. One exit poll reported Civil Contract received 32.7%, contradicting other exit poll figures. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told reporters outside a polling station that 'We will continue along the path of democratic reforms, of course with the support of our European partners, because the European Union is our main partner in implementing democratic reforms.' He also told reporters after casting his ballot in Yerevan, 'We will accept any choice made by the people.'
