The U.S. Department of Justice charged 15 people in Minnesota with conspiracy to impede or injure federal officers. The charges relate to alleged interference with federal immigration enforcement operations in Minnesota earlier this year. Twelve of the 15 charged individuals were arrested on Tuesday, while two remained at large. One of the charged individuals was already in custody as of Tuesday, according to Gdelt. Federal prosecutors characterized the accused groups as 'antifa'. The Trump administration labeled 'antifa' as a domestic terror group. Alleged actions by the charged individuals include posting inflammatory videos on Instagram calling on protesters to 'get your f*cking guns and stop these f*cking people', following a federal agent from the Whipple Building to Hudson, Wisconsin, kicking and denting a federal vehicle, 'brake-checking' and 'side-swiping' a federal officer on the road, and knocking an ICE agent’s notes out of his hand. According to Bluesky, two U.S. citizens were killed during the immigration enforcement operation in Minnesota.
