An Iranian drone and missile attack struck Kuwait’s international airport early on Wednesday, causing casualties and severe damage to the airport’s T1 building. Kuwait released CCTV footage of the drone strike. According to Al Arabiya, Kuwait Airways suspended operations at Kuwait International Airport. Al Arabiya reported that Iran launched ballistic missiles toward regional neighbors, and that the US military said two Iranian missiles fired at Kuwait fell short or broke apart en route. Al Arabiya also reported that three Iranian missiles launched at Bahrain were intercepted by US and Bahraini forces, and that all Iranian ballistic missiles and drones launched toward regional neighbors failed to hit targets. Al Arabiya further reported that US forces conducted strikes on Qeshm Island in response to Iranian attacks and defeated Iranian missiles and drones.
