Two members of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) were shot dead at their home in the western city of Paveh, according to multiple news reports.

The IRGC said a PDKI group was ambushed after entering Iranian territory in mountainous border areas near Piranshahr in West Azerbaijan province, and that clashes on Wednesday evening resulted in the IRGC killing five PDKI members, Al Arabiya reported.

Separate reports indicated that at least three IRGC members were killed in separate armed attacks across Iran, including one in western Iran near the border with Iraqi Kurdistan, according to Al-Monitor. Bluesky reported that gunmen killed two IRGC members near the Iraqi border in an attack claimed by a little‑known armed group. The Hindu noted that attackers shot dead two Guards members in Iran; it was not immediately clear who was behind the shooting, but Tehran frequently blames Kurdish separatist groups.

In Iran’s western province of Kermanshah, two IRGC servicemen were martyred and two others injured in a terrorist attack, Press TV reported. In Saravan, Sistan‑Baluchistan province, a family's vehicle was sprayed with bullets, killing the father and wounding the mother, who later died, English.Aawsat.com reported.
