Anthrocon, a furry convention, is being held in Pittsburgh in 2026 and is occurring this week. According to USA Today, the 2026 event is themed “Critters, Cryptids & Curses”, takes place at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center and lasts four days. USA Today reported that the convention draws thousands of fans from across the country and around the globe, and is billed as the world’s largest furry convention. The program includes panels, workshops, dance competitions, river cruises, art shows, a fursuit parade and a block party that spill into downtown and the Cultural District, USA Today said.
