According to Times of India, Ketan Agarwal's grandfather died of cardiac arrest weeks after his grandson's demise. Times of India also reported that Agarwal was a Pune realtor whose death at Lohagad Fort is being investigated as an alleged murder, and that police have arrested his fiancée, Siya Goyal, and her alleged lover. A Snapchat message from Goyal expressing doubts about the wedding has surfaced, the outlet added.

Rediff.com reported that Pune police have cracked a contract killing case, unraveling two more murders and leading to the arrest of two history‑sheeters in Khed taluka. The case is a suspected contract killing in Maharashtra's Pune district. The probe began after the body of Dhananjay Maruti Ghewade, 33, a resident of Rakshewadi village, was found on March 18 at an isolated spot nearly 10 km away. Rediff.com said the victim had sustained severe injuries to his head and face.

Rediff.com added that police initially struggled due to no immediate clues and lack of CCTV coverage at the exact location. The local police station and the rural Crime Branch began parallel investigations. A breakthrough was achieved after footage from a camera installed near a junction connecting the interior road to the main village route was examined, the outlet reported.
