A scuffle broke out between two groups of Nihang Sikhs at the Darbar Hall of Gurdwara Singh Shaheedan in Sohana, Punjab, during celebrations for four Nihang Sikhs granted bail in connection with the Karnprayag clash case. A police team from the Sohana police station was dispatched to the gurdwara to bring the situation under control. DSP Harsimrat Singh Chehtra stated that the situation has been neutralised and that police are waiting for a formal complaint to initiate further legal action. No formal complaints regarding the scuffle have been received by the police.

An FIR was registered, and four Nihang Sikhs were arrested and sent to judicial custody. Nihang Sikhs occupied a gurdwara in Nagarasu in Rudraprayag on June 20 and left it after meditations on June 23. A larger group of Nihang Sikhs marched to Dehradun on June 25 seeking the release of the arrested members. The standoff between Nihang Sikhs and Uttarakhand Police eased after assurances, with police agreeing to examine allegations of partiality in the probe and Nihang Sikhs at the Himachal Pradesh-Uttarakhand border stepping back.
