The Israeli military said it struck 100 Hezbollah infrastructure sites and fighters in Lebanon, and conducted strikes on Hezbollah targets in Beirut's southern suburbs. Israeli forces crossed the Litani River in an expanded ground offensive, and Netanyahu said Israeli forces advanced to positions north of Lebanon's Litani River. The Israeli military warned thousands more Lebanese to flee their villages.

Some reports state that military strikes occurred in the Dahiyeh District of Beirut while a ceasefire was in effect. Other reports indicate that the U.S. military hosted Israeli and Lebanese defense representatives in Washington to pursue a U.S.-brokered plan to forge peace and disarm Hezbollah. The IDF strikes killed 13 people in southern Lebanon, according to Times of Israel, and eleven people were killed in a Lebanon village as Israel increased military attacks, according to the BBC. According to TASS, Netanyahu said more than 600 Hezbollah members have been eliminated in recent weeks.
