Flat6Labs, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), and Algeria's Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Startups and Micro-Enterprises launched StartAlgeria, a capacity-building program targeting Entrepreneur Support Organizations (ESOs) that support pre-seed and seed-stage startups. StartAlgeria will pilot its first cohort focusing on incubators in Algiers and provides international best practices adapted to each ESO's needs. The program employs a community-driven approach focused on peer learning and facilitates connections with investors, policymakers, and key stakeholders. Its goal is to contribute to a stronger, more competitive entrepreneurship ecosystem in Algeria and enable expansion into global markets. According to dabafinance.com, selected ESOs will go through workshops and masterclasses covering startup selection, programme delivery, and investment readiness. Participants will receive six months of mentorship after the main programme, focusing on fundraising strategy, partnerships, financial sustainability, and programme improvement.
