Iran condemned US strikes on an oil tanker and a telecommunications tower in the Strait of Hormuz and on Qeshm Island as violations of a ceasefire and international law. It also condemned US attacks on the southern port city of Bandar Abbas and the Hormozgan province, calling them breaches of a ceasefire reached on April 8. Israel launched strikes in Lebanon, and Hezbollah's leader Naim Qassem rejected a deal to end the conflict.
