Chinese electric‑vehicle manufacturers are expanding into Europe, according to multiple sources.

According to the Guardian, BYD aims to become the world’s biggest automaker within five years, plans to spend £1.8 bn to build five‑minute flash chargers in Europe, and seeks to overtake Toyota as the top automaker.
