Turkish intelligence (MIT) captured a Daesh operative in a border area. Turkey identified the captured operative as Ahmet Kazancı. According to IslamabadPost.com.pk, Ozgur Altun was wanted by Turkiye for directing plots targeting concert venues and other civilian sites in Turkiye and across Europe, was the highest-ranking Turkish member of Daesh, played a key role in Daesh’s media and logistics networks, and was coordinating the movement of Daesh fighters from Europe and Central Asia to the Afghanistan-Pakistan region.
