The Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested Sateesh Seth and Gautam Doshi on Thursday under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act in connection with an alleged bank loan fraud involving Reliance Home Finance Limited and Reliance Commercial Finance Ltd, according to rediff.com. The agency is taking the two to Delhi because the case is registered in the national capital, reported by The Hindu, and a special investigation team at the ED headquarters is handling the case against Ambani and his group entities and associates, Times of India reported. Both men previously served as directors of Reliance Telecom Ltd, The Hindu noted.

A Delhi court ordered five days of ED custody for Amitabh Jhunjhunwala and Amit Bapna, rediff.com said, and Times of India reported that Amitabh Jhunjhunwala is in judicial custody. Former Reliance executives remain in ED custody as investigations into an alleged siphoning of funds to shell companies continue, rediff.com added.

The ED said it recovered digital evidence in the form of emails that "crystallises" the role of the two arrested accused in siphoning loan funds worth crores of rupees, rediff.com reported. Times of India also noted that Doshi was arrested in 2011 by the CBI in the 2G spectrum scam case and spent seven months in jail before being granted bail.
