Prague's St. Vitus Cathedral, the largest building in the Czech Republic, had its new organ inaugurated on Monday. The organ was built in the workshop of Gerhard Grenzing in El Papiol near the Spanish city of Barcelona. Grenzing, a German organ builder, has constructed nearly 140 organs and reconstructed over 90 historical instruments in multiple countries. The new organ has four keyboards. Prague archbishop Stanislav Přibyl blessed the instrument during a mass, where the Czech Philharmonic performed 'The Lužany Mass' by Antonín Dvořák and works by Georg Friedrich Händel, Camille Saint-Saëns, and Joseph Haydn. Přibyl said: 'St. Vitus Cathedral has gained a new voice,' and added: 'A voice that will not speak with words but will still speak to the heart.' A series of eight concerts to present the new organ will follow in the days to come.

Pope Leo XIV pledged continued dialogue and acknowledged that new problems have been added to historically divisive issues between the Vatican and the Anglican Communion. He vowed to continue the tradition of past popes to try to reunite the churches.
