Video circulating on social media shows patrons at Fairlane Town Center scrambling for safety. Dearborn Police Chief Issa Shahin said a person was hit by a car outside the mall while attempting to flee. Shahin said shots were fired at the mall in Dearborn around 2 p.m. EST during what he described as a fight between two groups of people. He said people believed to be linked to the fight were being questioned by police, but added that no one was immediately taken into custody.
