Authorities in Kuwait have released chilling footage capturing the first moments of adeadly Iranian drone attack on the Gulf nation's international airporton Wednesday. The strike killed an Indian national and injured at least 63 others.
The footage, published by Kuwait's General Directorate of Civil Aviation (DGCA), captures the aftermath of what authorities called a "brutal Iranian aggression" carried out using hostile drones.
The strike damaged airport facilities as well as diplomatic missions in the area. Among the 63 injured people were airport employees and passengers, the country's Health Ministry has confirmed.
Flight operations were temporarily suspended following the attack.
Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), however, disputed Kuwait's account of the airport strike. Iranian state media reported that the IRGC claimed the damage was caused by a wayward US Patriot missile rather than an Iranian drone.
