AMMAN — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned the Iranian ballistic missile attack on Jordanian territory, as well as attacks targeting UAE, Bahrain, Qatar and Kuwait.
In a statement on Saturday, the ministry said that Jordan would continue to take “all available and necessary measures” to safeguard the safety of its citizens and protect the country’s security and sovereignty.
The ministry expressed Jordan’s “absolute solidarity” with the affected Gulf states, affirming that the Kingdom stands firmly alongside them in confronting any actions that threaten their sovereignty, security and stability.
It also said that Jordan would continue working with regional and international partners to help de-escalate tensions and reinforce security and stability across the region.
