GATES FOUNDATION engaged materially CONGRESSMAN in Massachusetts, United States
Bill Gates has claimed that Jeffrey Epstein used his knowledge of the Microsoft founder’s extramarital affairs as “leverage” against him.
The tech billionaire told US Congress members on Wednesday that Epstein “was working to use information about my infidelities ... to pressure me”.
Senior US politicians suggested it was evidence that Epstein, who died in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges, blackmailed powerful figures in his orbit to his advantage.
Gates also reportedly admitted to seeking donations from Epstein for his global health organisation despite knowledge of the paedophile’s sex crimes.
It follows awkward revelations about Gates’ close relationship with the registered sex offender disclosed in the Epstein files, which the US Department of Justice began publishing in December.
They showed that Epstein had claimed in a memo to himself in 2013 that Gates caught a sexually transmitted disease after sleeping with “Russian girls”, and that the Microsoft founder had asked for antibiotics to “surreptitiously give” to his then-wife.
Gates has repeatedly denied the claims but admitted in a closed-door interview in Congress on Wednesday that Epstein used his…

Epstein files: Melinda French Gates' new interview - CP24
Bill Gates and Melinda French Gates are again reckoning with the Microsoft co-founder’s past ties to Jeffrey Epstein, with Gates testifying this week to Congress about their past interactions and his ex-wife newly opening up about her “visceral reaction” to the late convicted sex offender.
In an
interview with the Guardian
published Saturday, Melinda French Gates, a philanthropist who divorced Gates in 2021, said she had nightmares after once meeting Epstein and grew so upset talking to the reporter about her impressions of the man that she almost ended the interview.
“Have you ever in your life been around somebody that you just know is evil?” French Gates reflected to the Guardian about her initial impressions of Epstein. She told the interviewer at the time that her heart was “racing,” according to the report.
“We need to listen to our feelings about people,” she added to the Guardian. “I’m done. I can’t do any more questions.”
French Gates, who called Epstein an “abhorrent human being, a horrid man” and at one point in the interview conceded “this is a hard topic for me,” told the interviewer she was having a “visceral …

Gates has repeatedly denied the claims but admitted in a closed-door interview in Congress on Wednesday that Epstein used his…
Bill Gates has told members of the US Congress that he "did not fully understand the extent" of Jeffrey Epstein's crimes when he associated with the late convicted sex offender to raise money for his philanthropic foundation.
Bill Gates has told members of the US Congress that he "did not fully understand the extent" of Jeffrey Epstein's crimes when he associated with the late convicted sex offender to raise money for his philanthropic foundation.
Gates also testified that he never witnessed any criminal conduct from Epstein.
He accused Epstein of blackmailing him over his extramarital affairs.
"These affairs had nothing to do with my interactions with Epstein but they were painful for my family," Gates said, according to a copy of his opening statement.
"Epstein was working to use information about my infidelities - in addition to many lies that he layered on top - to pressure me to re-engage with him."
Congress has been investigating the US Justice Department's handling of the Epstein case.
The billionaire's testimony concerned his contacts with the convicted sex offender who ensnared women and girls from poor or unstable backgrounds.
The Microsoft Corp co-founder testified privately to the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, which is investigating possible federal mismanagement in the cases against Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell and related issues.
