2 people shot in Pittsburgh's Homewood neighborhood - WPXI PITTSBURGH — Two people were injured in a shooting early Friday morning in the Homewood neighborhood, according to Pittsburgh police. Officers responded to the intersection of Tioga Street and Rosedale Street after a ShotSpotter alert detected nearly 30 rounds fired. When police arrived, they found a man and a woman inside a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds to the head and stomach. Police said officers rendered aid until paramedics arrived. Both victims were taken to a hospital and are expected to survive. Detectives are continuing to process evidence and have not released any suspect information. “At this time, detectives are investigating, and we have no further suspect information to pass along,” Cmdr. Lance Hoyson said. During the investigation, detectives were seen collecting evidence from a lounge across the street, which police said would be part of the case.
