Amarnath Yatra can help defeat hate, mistrust: Mehbooba Mufti Srinagar: Former J&K CM Mehbooba Mufti on Monday said that Amarnath Yatra and tourism are an opportunity for people of Kashmir to defeat hate and mistrust. Mufti, while addressing people in Pahalgam, one of the main routes of Amarnath Yatra, said people's initiative should ensure that every yatri and tourist feels welcomed, respected and protected. The 57-day pilgrimage to the 3,880-metre-high cave shrine in the Himalayas of south Kashmir is set to begin on July 3. Pahalgam in Anantnag and Sonamarg in Ganderbal are the two main routes to the cave.
