The blaze is suspected to have been triggered by a short circuit, they said. The deceased were identified as Pankaj , his maternal grandmother Sushila Devi and his sister Soni , who lived on the third floor of the building, police said. Pankaj's other sister Moni and his mother Guddi Devi , who is speech-impaired, sustained critical injuries and are undergoing treatment, they said.
